Youth-Oriented Event to be held on June 6th, During the Second Annual Classic Car Show

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, April 12, 2015 – The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Benevolent Association (PBA), in cooperation with the Arlington Business Improvement District (, a focus group dedicated to fostering sustainability for businesses and organizations that call Poughkeepsie’s Arlington neighborhood home, will host a Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department “Law Enforcement Day” on Saturday, June 6th. The public is invited to head to the Vassar Alumni Lawn, on Raymond Avenue in Poughkeepsie, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to enjoy an array of free activities, see police department vehicles and other equipment up close and personal and to learn more about local community youth services.

“We strongly encourage all attendees with little ones to stop by the Child Identification Station we’ll have set up that day,” says Sergeant Gary Hulbert of the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department. “There will also be a K9 demonstration, free snacks, bounce houses, face painting, a DJ and more, as well as the chance to enter raffles for prize giveaways.”
